Tickets are non refundable, are not exchangeable and cannot be
transferred
The house and gardens are set on a hillside and as such there
are many steps, slopes and uneven surfaces. Please ensure appropriate
foot-ware is worn, take extra care if conditions are wet, and avoid
any areas that are cordoned off for your own safety
Water features are an integral part of the garden – please
take care
Children are welcome but must be supervised. Please do not allow
children to climb on walls or balustrades, roll down banks, climb
trees, or go near water without proper supervision
Dogs are not permitted in the formal gardens, except for guide
dogs, but are welcome on leads on the public footpaths on the Estate.
Please clear up after your dog. The Estate is farmed and there
is roaming livestock
Visitors should be suitably attired so as not to cause offence
to other garden visitors. (Examples of this are offensive slogans
on T shirts and gentlemen removing their shirts).
Smoking is not allowed in the Garden
Ball games are not permitted in the Garden
Picking of flowers, fruit or taking cuttings is not permitted
Picnicking is not permitted in the Gardens
Feeding or distressing of fish and other wildlife and animals
on the Estate is forbidden
Abuse or aggressive behaviour to staff is not tolerated and will
be prosecuted.
We reserve the right to ask anyone not abiding by these terms and
regulations to leave
Please report any damage caused to Cherkley Court staff
We reserve the right to make any alterations to the advertised
arrangements
