Water features are an integral part of the garden – please take care

Children are welcome but must be supervised. Please do not allow children to climb on walls or balustrades, roll down banks, climb trees, or go near water without proper supervision

Dogs are not permitted in the formal gardens, except for guide dogs, but are welcome on leads on the public footpaths on the Estate. Please clear up after your dog. The Estate is farmed and there is roaming livestock

Visitors should be suitably attired so as not to cause offence to other garden visitors. (Examples of this are offensive slogans on T shirts and gentlemen removing their shirts).

Picking of flowers, fruit or taking cuttings is not permitted

Picnicking is not permitted in the Gardens

Feeding or distressing of fish and other wildlife and animals on the Estate is forbidden
